iRobot announced last week it received a $2 million earmark for development of the iRobot Warrior:”This funding will allow iRobot to expand its product line, which continues to evolve as the need for unmanned ground vehicles grows worldwide,” said Joe Dyer, president of iRobot Government and Industrial Robots.Didn’t seem to help the stock much, but then again, almost everything has been dropping lately.

The animated film Wall-E has a new toy coming out, but this Limited Edition product is actually a themed Roomba Vacuum. Although I am not sure what the connection between Wall-E and Roomba Vacuum is besides this i-Robot product team up, it is kind of cool to see a house cleaning tech product presented in such a light. Most vacuums are so dull and boring, and perhaps this new Wall-E release will grant a little more fun. The other times cleaning was made fun was with the Pac Man Roomba Vacuum
