PETERSBURG, Fla. _ It seems like forever ago, but Red Sox manager Terry Francona spoke Saturday afternoon about seeing former player Trot Nixon prior to Game Four of the American League Championship Series at Fenway Park. Nixon was on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Francona was in his office when there was a knock on the backdoor and when he opened it, it was the Dirt Dog.
