Strategy Page has an interesting take on the latest contract awards for iRobot’s PackBot and Foster-Miller’s Talon robots. The blog expects that most of the 7,000 robots in the contracts will never be delivered, and points to the likely emergence of iRobot’s smaller SUGV infantry droid as the reason.
